step 4: create a storyboard
to create a good storyboard, you have to layout each page of your comic with all the panels. This is a rough sketch, nothing final. So, in your journal, draw the panels for a page of your comic and sketch the pictures.
This is where you plan close-ups (otherwise known as synecdoche), holistic imagery, sensory imagery, etc.. Really plan out your comic even if you are taking pictures.
